I recently spent a few days in Rome, the eternal city as many call it. I was amazed by the historical heritage, the amazing architecture and obviously the Italian cuisine. :) Apart from photographing the sites, I also continued a “project” I started in last May: photographing tourists photographing themselves or the sites or both (A.K.A. tourists taking selfies with sites in the background). Tourists taking photos is obviously not a new thing, they always did this and will always do it. But the selfie sticks are somewhat new and around the historical sites, there are vendors who sell _only_ selfie sticks, it’s a market niche now. While it proves to be pretty useful, it still looks weird a bit… For a few moments I played around with the thought of getting one, but so far I managed to resist the temptation. :)
Here are a few samples. Let me know what you think! :)
Do you take selfies at sites when you travel?
